Foot reimplantation in a child: case report

Abstract

We report a rare case of foot reimplantation due to a traumatic amputation above the anklecaused by transit accident, in an one year old child. The treatment was done with specific venous, arterial and neural microanastomosis, and bone stabilization with K-wires, with a good clinical result within eight years.
