Abstract

The 90% of flat feet convex congenital infant are surgical, surgical techniques exist as a conservative and all were found to failures in their treatment. The purpose of the next job is to present a surgical technique of lowering Flat Foot convex congen itachild and the importance of early treatment operation. We studied 14 patients with clinical and radiological diagnosis of congenital flat foot convex child aged between g and 48 months they are visited the Hospital Especia lidades Pediátricas, Central Hospital Dr. urquinaona ft Hogar clínica san Rafael between september 1986 to February 2008, descriptive, with application of radiological studies in anteroposterior and lateral projection of the foot. we evaluated parameters: age, sex, degree of verticalization the talus, time of immobilization and wandering, degree of correction. Fourteen patients aged 9 and 48 months, average 17 months, 12 months of follow-up, had deformity and difficulty walking. Evolved after the reduction towards the total improvement, except one case where the talus fell 20°. however the result was satisfactory. The technical underpinnings of the talus with Kirschner needles prior reduction gives good resutts and is a technique to take into account when the Surgical treatment of vertical talus (PPAV), recovering the normal.
