Comparação entre os métodos manual e computadorizado na goniométrica radiográfica do hátux valgo

Abstract

With the aim to compare the classic radiologic measurement method with a new digital one, the AP standinq plain radiographs of 25 patients (SO feefl with hallux valgus were measured by three foot and ankle surgeons in two different occasions for each method: ⁽¹⁾ the standard technique with a marker and a goniometer on plain films and ⁽²⁾ the digital measurements using a personal computer with a software for geometric analysis - M2000 - on digitalized radiographs. The angular and linear parameters used in this study were the HV angle, 1-2 lM angle, lnterfalangeal HV angle, DMAA and the length ofthe 1 and 2 metatarsal bones. Data was submitted to statistical analysis for intraobserver and interobserver reliability of both methods. The study validates the use of the computerized method for the radiologic evaluation of the hallux valgus deformity.
