Abstract

Case report of a patient with posterior tibial tendon insufficiency, the main cause of flatfoot acquired in adults, which can be confused with other similar diseases that condition chronic painful flatfoot, that in severe cases is recomended surgical treatment, such as posterior tibial tendoscopy. The case is reported with the studies and treatment performed.
