Abstract

Schwannoma is a rare benign tumor of the peripheral nerve sheaths, with a diagnosis in most cases late. It is associated with irritative symptoms of the nerve by its compressive effect. At the time of evaluation, the patient was three years of evolution. After MRI, it was taken to surgery where it was extracted mass. Biopsy reported as schwannoma. One year after surgery, the patient is pain with mild discomfort and no recurrence of the tumor
